Sometimes having a sense of entitlement gets a bad rap, but when you’re literally entitled to vote because you’re funding the show? That’s good governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re proposing to clearly define that voting rights belong to full practitioner members of AMT – those whose annual membership fees directly fund AMT’s operations and advocacy work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Community members and student members, while absolutely valued participants within AMT’s membership, receive significantly reduced-fee or free membership. However, full fee-paying practitioner members are most directly impacted by how AMT dedicates its limited resources. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This isn’t about exclusion but rather about ensuring that those who carry the financial responsibility for AMT have the decision-making authority to match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
