AMT incorporated nationally more than twenty years ago so removing outdated references to “body corporate” reflects their lack of relevance to our legal structure under the Corporations Act 2001. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The “body corporate” terminology carries legal implications that don’t apply to our governance or compliance requirements. It’s like wearing your grandfather’s suit to a wedding, even though it doesn’t fit and really isn’t appropriate for the occasion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
